Limits of Confidentiality

Information Lauren Johnson Counseling receives, either through a phone call, email, website comments, etc., is confidential within the law's limits. The law requires Lauren Johnson Counseling to report abuse or neglect of minors under 18, elderly adults, and dependent adults, and threats or harm to self or others.

Benefits & Risk of Counseling & Coaching

Those contemplating counseling or coaching should realize that, as a result of services rendered, significant changes in their lives may occur. They may make changes in their marriages or significant relationships, such as with parents, friends, children, relatives, etc. While Lauren Johnson Counseling will assist the client in effecting change, we cannot guarantee a specific outcome. Clients are ultimately responsible for their own growth and change.

Other Considerations

I do not hold a doctorate of any kind. I am not a psychological examiner and do not do assessments for return to duty/work. I do not do custody evaluations in the case of divorce and will not testify in custody disputes. I do not conduct evaluations for disability. I do not write letters for support animals.
